Panasonic launches HX-A1 their first wearable camera for India. The price of this new camera is Rs 19,990 and it has a capability of recording 1080p videos at 30 fps frame rate.
The design of this camera is similar to that of HTC RE and GoPro HERO. Its build is a very light weight one and it weighs just 45 grams. It has 1.5m shockproof and waterproof design. Also, the body is dustproof and it doesn’t freeze even at a temperature of -10 degrees Celsius.
With the introduction of this camera, Panasonic aims to provide an unmatched experience and a lot of excitement has been created in the market of action cameras, said the product head, Gaurav Ghavri.
A 1/3 inch MOS sensor has been provided on HX-A1 having a resolution of 3.54 megapixels. Apart from that, the camera also has capability to record videos with 60fps frame rate as well as in slow motion. Still images are captured with a 16:9 ration and 2.66 megapixel resolution.
If order to record videos professionally, there is a 0 Lux Night mode in this camera through which subjects with no-light japes are captured. There is also an IR filter in the camera through which an advanced video recording experience is delivered. There is no Wi-Fi connectivity for synchronization of content with a device. There is also a microSD card slot that supports 128GB storage.
The prices of HX-A1 haven’t been revealed yet by Panasonic. However, in a statement it has been mentioned that it would be having a multi mount for mounting the camera on helmets, shoulders or goggles. For a professional experience of video recording, it also has a extended battery, handle mount bar, twin mount for light source, head mount and clip mount.
