Omate unveils TrueSmart+ Smartwatch with OStore for native apps and improved internal specifications.
Omate thinks out of box and keeps Android 5.1 Lollipop on it rather than running on specially designed Android Wear. This means that you will have to download apps from Omate’s proprietary App Store named as OStore. Moreover its not the stock Android Lollipop as OUI 3.0 user interface is designed for customization.
Ostore has number of App for smartwatch which includes Mi Launcher, Big Launcher, Apex Launcher, Social network apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Skype, Viber, WeChat, Line, Foursquare, Instagram. It also packs Tools like Minuum, Shoutr, Waze, MetaTrader, Dropbox, Shazam, SWApp Link, Music apps like SPotify, SoundHound, Deezer, UltimateAudio and Nike+ Running, Runtastic, Moves, Runkeeper, Noom Walk, Noom Coach, Map My Run, Weight Logger for your daily activity tracking.
TrueSmart+ comes with 1.54 inch TFT touchscreen curved capacitive display with 320 x 320 pixels resolution and a dedicated SIM Card slot for [Micro SIM] which allows you to make phone calls, receive operator based text messages and a GPS antenna. It even supports 3G with WCDMA 2100 Mhz, GSM with 2G bands like 900/850/1900/1800 Mhz, HSPA connectivity apart from normal WiFi 802.11 b/g.
The Omate TrueSmart+ extract juices from 600 mAh battery which should be enough to run your watch for all day long use. Internally it’s powered with dual core processor clocked at 1 Ghz, Mediatek MT6572M system on chip [SoC] coupled with 1 GB RAM. It also has 8 Gigs of internal storage on the device dedicated for you to store various audio, picture and video files.
