Google outs two new Nexus devices – Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and USB Type-C.
September 29th morning, on the stage in San Francisco, the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X were announced by Google. Nexus 6P is a new version of the Nexus 6 smartphone and has a completely new design with a smaller 5.7 inch display. The thickness of the phone is just 7.3 mm and overall size is similar to that of iPhone 6 Plus. This means that bigger screen is being fit in body of same size.
It has a WQHD AMOLED Display which makes up for around 3 quarters of the front of this device. In the same event, Nexus 5X too was also announced by Google. As per Google, Nexus 6P is the most premium phone by it till date. There are several reasons to support this, the first one being the all metal body. On the back, there is a fingerprint sensor wherein you can rest your finger whilst holding it. All that needs to be done is tapping the sensor with your finger so that the phone wakes up and gets unlocked. One can use it for authorizing payments in Play Store or Android Pay.
There are 2 front facing speakers as well. The most amazing feature as per Google in this Nexus 6P is its camera. There is a pretty large camera at the back of this phone and this is because it hides away a 12.3 mega pixel Sony Sensor having larger pixels than other smartphones. Owing to this, better photos can be taken in low-light as per Google. This camera is optimized mainly for indoor photography and it also features 4K video, Slow motion video and burst mode. On the front, it has a 5 mega pixel camera for selfies and video chats.
The Google Nexus 6P is currently available for pre-order in USA, UK, Ireland and Japan. The Nexus 6P is available at following prices –
