You would have put the Apple Watch in the list of Christmas, but the new model might come out in the month of June. A supplier of Apple in Taiwan made a statement that as part of latest earnings, we are just 7 months away from the next model’s release.
If these rumors are true, the launch of this modified device would be seen only over an year. A statement by Quanta, a Taiwanese manufacturer stated that the new Apple Watch would be available for sale by the 2nd quarter next year, reported a reliable source.
The start of the mass manufacture would start by the 3rd quarter next year and the comments would be fit with the predictions of the analyst. The claims are made from rumors that come from Korean report, which suggests that the screen, shape and the size of the watch would be very similar.
However, as per others, hints are given that new features would be there in the device, including a brighter and a thinner OLED screen, which means that it can accommodate a large battery. It is also suggested that in the next model, there would be a front camera for selfies and FaceTime conversations.
Meanwhile, there is some hope is there that the revamped device would have a wireless chip for getting it connected to the iPhone without having the need for constant Bluetooth connection. In the current Apple Watch, Wi-Fi is used for updates to app and sending messages. However, in the new chip, more data can be sent and a better location accuracy can be obtained. With increased consumption, improvements in the battery would be negated. With extras, more power would be consumed and no difference would be noticed in the life of battery. It is expected that more expensive versions of the watch would be made and platinum and titanium would be incorporated.
